The Anonymous Narrator

Lois and I attended a program at the church recently. It included drama about the birth of Christ. There were the actors doing great with their parts (and learning in the process). But who was the very capable narrator? But more puzzling - how were they reading in the dark? I thought perhaps there was an LED light that I could not see.

After the program we learned the narrator was our eight-year-old grandson, Ryan Kubow. He was not reading at all, but had memorized the lines and was giving them from memory in a very conversational presentation.

To put it mildly, we were both impressed!
