25 Years Later

During the early 1980s, I taught a computer class as an elective to a group of students that had little interest in computers except to play games. But not all of them took the class for fun and games. This note just came in:

Hello Mr. Dailey,

I was looking at you website and was surprised that you did not mention the computer class that you taught at Montavilla Christian School. I was one of the 3 kids who stayed with the class all year. The other two graduated that year so I had the TRS-80 all to myself the next year.

I am currently a computer consultant to hospitals.

Thank you for volunteering to teach that computer class.

There's a real lesson here. What looks at first like a waste of time may turn out to bless many other people.
