Reyman Report

This blog has turned into a health report. We will expand beyond this soon.

Rodney Reyman is basically at home now, recovering from his two months of illness. He walks with a walker, but is trying to find a better solution to being mobile.

His brother Darrell has not returned home yet, but Lucille reports guarded improvement and thinks that he will return home within the next few days.

The Saturday Night Report

Both Darrell and Rodney are in the hospital, but in different towns. Darrell is in a rehab center. He developed an infection that sent progress the wrong way, but he is improving today, Saturday.

Rod is in the hospital in Reno. His heart rate went way high and the Dr. would not release him until this is under control.

We will post more as the story unfolds.

Darrell Reyman Sunday Night

Lois talked with Lucille, Darrell's wife, on Sunday evening. He is still in ICU and cannot have visitors, other than family members. Recover has been slow and his thinking is still confused by the many drugs that he was on. Lucille says she can see progress.

Rod and Darrell on Friday Evening

Rodney Reyman is continuing to improve at home. The process is slow. This coming Wednesday, he faces another medical procedure to enable him to continue improving. He attends church by arriving late and leaving early. He is still using a walker.

We have this note about Darrell Reyman from Lisa Racine:

I want to give you the latest news on Darrell. He is off the ventilator and is just needing a little oxygen to help him now, which is good. He is under sedation at this time, to keep him calm and not so agitated. They didn't allow any visitors again today, because he gets real agitated when people come in. James said that when his dad had knee surgery that the medication really affected him badly then too. Hopefully he can have a peaceful nights rest and be much better in the morning. Please continue to pray for Darrell's recovery and also for Lucille, James & Julie.

Darrell Reyman: Successful Surgery

Darrell is in ICU at this writing recovering from quad-bypass heart surgery. The doctor had heard Darrell preach on the radio and was happy to met him. The report following the surgery was very favorable.

Thursday: John Racine reports from the scene that Darrell is progressing. The next challenge is for him to breath on his own.

Rodney is Recovering

Veteran preacher (and brother-in-law) Rodney Reyman is continuing to gain strength following his long hospital stay. He is able to be outside some and has attended the church services recently.

We must have a special note of appreciation to his wife Barbara for her patience and persistence with her patient.

Bring Joy to the Poor

Lady Lois helps the impoverished in the grocery store check-out line. When they don't have enough money to pay for every item in their cart, she volunteers to pay the short-fall. It brings joy to the person in need and joy to the onlookers. She says something that gives the honor to God.

Mrs. Wayne Bigelow departs
